ABOUT MARTIN ZHOU
Born in Zaozhuang and raised in Hangzhou, China, I am a gradute international student at the University of Chicago, pursuing a master degree in International Relations. I completed my undergraduate studies at Syracuse University, where I graduated with a major in Economics and minors in Political Science and Communication and Rhetorical Studies (CRS), achieving High Distinction of Summa Cum Laude.
Prior to my undergraduate studies, I obtained my high school diploma in Washington DC. Following high school graduation, I took two gap years during which I had the opportunity to work at a foreign company in China. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for entrepreneurship and successfully established my own startup company. During my undergraduate journey, I have actively sought opportunities to broaden my horizons. As a member of prestigious honor societies such as Phi Beta Kappa & Omicron Delta Epsilon, I have engaged with like-minded individuals and further enriched my educational experience.
I have had several internship experiences in the field of business consulting and am currently working for a global consulting company. I enjoy traveling and jogging in my leisure time, am a big junkie of whiskey, and prefer working at night.
